...I think. A couple of times now I have happened across a program called L.O.U.D. that's aired on MuchMusic (Canada's version of MTV, only better, IMO). It's a 1 or 2 hour show that focusses on hard music. They play a full range/pretty even mix of stuff ranging from Static X, Godsmack & Pantera to Killer Dwarfs, Ratt, Crue, and Van Halen. No kidding! The episodes that I've caught have had a really cool mix of old and new. My VCR was working overtime. I've just been too busy to try to figure out when it airs and if it does so regularly. Anyways, the point is that if it can exist on MuchMusic, which originally modeled itself after MTV, it can certainly exist on MTV. I say email 'em. It can't hurt.
