My thoughts exactly! Mtv has this show that airs once in a while called "Return Of The Rock", and it features the crap metal bands like Limp Bizshit, Kornhole, etc.They just think that "Old School" Metal isn't cool anymore.But ya know, things may be changing; I went to a local record show recently, and while I was searching through a vendors box of cds, A young kid next to me with spiky frosted hair was asking said vendor about an Iron Maiden poster that was laying on the table next to me. I turned around and asked the kid, "You like Iron Maiden? I thought all you kids liked rap?" He replyed "No, most of my friends like metal, like Iron Maiden and Judas Priest...we hate rap" . Man, you don't know how good that made me feel! And just the other day, the owner of a used record/cd store I frequent told me that kids regularly come into his store buying and buy cds from bands as diverse as Metallica, Judas Priest, Poison, and Ratt.So maybe there is hope for the future...
