Shucks! Thanks for your kind words.
Personally, I Thought the name change to TATTOO RODEO was a dreadful choice, but they were trying to jump on the back of the Gn'R thang that was going on and I suppose you can understand why. The image change to cowboy boots and er...wigs(!!) was also dubious but the music, ah.
On the first album ('Rode Hard, Put away wet', a cartoon title surely!) it's pretty much WHITE SISTER with a twangy guitar at the intro's. There is one particular killer song for Dennis Churchill's vocals , 'Been You're Fool' on which he is just awesome. Worth the price alone. I'm afraid to say it was a bargain bin filler here in the UK a few years back, but listening to it again now, it sure got overlooked.
The second album 'Skin' is also excellent but a lot blusier and THUNDERlike. I think they wanted to do this the first time but thought they would lose their small (but perfectly formed!) fanbase.
I still think they are worthy of you tracking down though, and if you really get into WHITE SISTER there are some demos of tracks between the second album and TATTOO RODEO going around. Enjoy!
