Sure, they had a bit of a dodgy vocalist in Garri Brandon but seeing as bass player Dennis Churchill sang the bulk of the material so what! And he can sing rings round a LOT of people.
The thing about this record is that despite the odd bum note and possibly the worst production/mix job ever, the quality still fights its way to the surface. Definately check out the NIGHT RANGER ish 'Can't Say No' and 'Promises', which hs the 'dirtiest' guitar sound ever.
'Fashion By Passion' has a better production job and some BIG BIG tunes in the form of 'April' and 'A Place In The Heart.
You could also check out the first TATTOO RODEO album, which is essentially the same band with a more BON JOVI 'Wanted, Dead Or Alive' type twist. Their AOR roots still come through though on 'Tell Me Why' which was an old WHITE SISTER demo before they decided on the name change and the cowboy boots!
The second album 'Skin' was in a more THUNDER direction.
Check them out. Hope you like them.
