Mytwopenn'orth for what it's not worth... the first album is, to me, the subject of much unjustified praise. Biggish LA rock not that much different to what dozens of other bands were doing better at the time (Dokken etc). Some of it sung by a keyboard player who became a bit of a cult AOR hero despite failing the timeless "can he sing in tune?" test. Just MHO. The second album is a different kettle of fish, very classy AOR / pomp. The debut track is a stand out with its very different structure and nicking 3 songs from the never released 6th Angel album was a stroke of genius too to keep the songwriting quality high. Great stuff. Still sounds fresh today. Get the second - avoid the hype.
