It is indeed harder edged than OOTS or WOTW.
Featuring Vinny Burns in a leading role - and a damn fine one, I must add.
In fact, the main resemblance with OOTS are DW's very recognizable vox.
I kinda think of OOTS and BFS as albums from different bands ... and I love them both very much.
So I'd say: if you're not afraid of the harder egde of AOR, this is definitely a must-buy!!! Very classy songs, extremely well-produced, a huge sound... as Kevin so rightfully said, it's up there in the upper class with the Hardline album.
