Actually, you got your facts wrong. Adrenalize was produced by Mike Shipley...Mutt was producing the Waking Up The Neighbours album at the time, so he sure couldn't have done both! Mutt got an Executive Producer credit cause, but it was only because he helped the band write and made himself available to them when they needed advice on a song or what have you....I have an interview where Joe Elliott says it was the "gentlemanly thing to do" to give him that honorary credit as he had no obligation to help them out.

I do agree that Mutt's bands have a sameness to them.....and yeah, it might as well be the Mutt Lange Band. However, I happen to like the sound....yeah, it gets repetitive for many Im sure, but I love the MUtt sound and its nice knowing that you can look forward to a new Mutt release more or less knowing you're going to expect his usual standard fare. If you dont like his sound too much, then I can certainly see how it might bother you....many have argued that he sapped the Corrs' identity and what original flavor they had to turn them into this assemblyline product. True enough, but I still think the songs he did with them are some of the standouts on the album.

Personally, I think Mutt's a genius. WUTN remains my favorite Bryan Adams album - an awesome rock record that was overshawed by the success of Everything I Do, but that is just wonderful from start to finish.
