Re Sharon's recent post about the above gig and flying to Belfast.
For those flying into Belfast International Airport there is a bus which departs from the terminal at ten minutes past the hour and twenty minutes to the hour which goes directly into Belfast city centre. Single fare is £5.00 and return fare is £8.00. Return journey to the airport leaves every 30 minutes (e.g. 11.00am; 11.30am). Belfast International is roughly 20 miles outside the city therefore taxis could be a bit expensive, so I would recommend travelling by bus.
Belfast City Airport is situated just over one mile from the city centre, minimun taxi fare is £5.00, it should NOT cost much more!!
So far there has been a positive response from mainland UK with quite a few making the journey, hopefully more will follow and taste some Irish hospitality both here in Belfast and also in Limerick the night before.
There are also regular ferry sailings directly into Belfast from Stranaer and Troon, plus an overnight sailing from Liverpool, for those of you who fancy a night on the ocean waves!!
