OK all you New Yorkers--have any of you heard of a band from the mid to late 1980's called SWEENEY or THE SWEENEY'S? My brother works with a guy who gave him a demo tape of the band he was once a part of(SWEENEY?) and it is absolutely awesome-American melodic hard rock at its finest. They apparently got some air play around NY, NJ, PA. He said that at one time, Bon Jovi drummer Tico Torres and he were in a band together. I'm hoping to get the demo cassette burned onto a cdr as soon as I can get it from my brother. Thanks in advance for your responses. Take care.
