First of all thanks for your positive thoughts on the live set, I appreciated hearing that and since the crowd obviously loved it,you would have had no legitimacy had you slammed it.As far as the "i dont care what you think" quote, you misunderstood, i DO care very much about my fans and the fans of this music, which is why i monitor some of this crap and am writing to explain fully to you. That line was written specificaly for the critics who hide behind anonymity and have nothing positive to say about anyone. I am very glad however that you paid enough attention to that song and the new material and it is for that very reason, the fact that you DO pay close attention to detail, that my new cd is already better than the last, the songs are even better and i assure you that we will take the utmost care with the production. Thanks for giving me an opportunity to clear that up,i didnt have much time to explain the song fully during its intro,we had to make time for the other excellent bands and I had to cut things short by order of the label as the whole show was running very late,so i didnt have time to elaborate on my raps as i would have wished. My fans are always #1 with me and I care very much about THEM.Its the negativity that I am trying to address. Not just toward me,I have seen worse and i can take it...it comes with the job ,beleive me.Butthe song is meant for people out there in cyberland that have been victims of negativity, sort of a "dont get upset or give up,just ignore it" song.
I had a great time at the show, hope you did too!Below is the chorus so that you can get the idea.It was written specifically for the critics who took their shot at ME,its nothing more than a fun song back at them, sort of like a little kid sticking their toungue out at a playmate, harmless fun.I wrote it the day i saw Melodica at the #1 position on the sales charts, the same day as I read some very funny and bad reviews of my work.I think that writing a song is a much better way to vent frustration than violence, dont you?I am healthier mentally for it and actually it came out to be a kick ass song so i thing the reviewers ended up doing me a favor in the end.I got a cool song out of them.
