You're joking right? Quality songs (sorry they're not as generic and repetitive as most of what was on offer), awesome musicianship, harmonies that were in tune, and not turning too much into a cabaret band by playing old songs by bands who weren't featured... that makes them the worst of the day? Let's hope they have some more "suckers" next year. Mark Mangold's pompy keyboards are forever ingrained in my mind. As good as I'd dared hope and that took quite some doing....

Two Fires were consummately professional but I'd have preferred to see them stick their necks on the line by being Two Fires and less of the All Star Cast. Don't get me wrong - 2 Fires were good and those songs they played are great but they are respectively Storm, Survivor, Nightranger and Ides of March (I think) songs .... I mean if Jim Peterik (I know he wrote the song) is the only person on stage connected with Eye of the Tiger and they play it - how far away are we from a tribute band playing?? Just a question. The other acts were (IMPO) ranging from very talented to downright poor (I didn't see Ten). I just wonder, no matter how obviously talented you are, how good your songs have to be for them to stand up to the absolute scrutiny that is a one man show. My biggest disappointments were Millenium. Just didn't do it for me but I am more than happy to give any band that's got Ralph Santolla and Jorn Lande another chance, maybe it's the playing of so much unheard material that does it....
