I too am a lover of pomp as well as all sorts of other rock and I know Stephen very
well. He doesn't visit the board anymore ( or very rareley ). Stephen is still very much into the music and we often talk about great obscure bands like Stencil Forest, Ron Bolten Band etc.
There is no definitive guide that I know of sadly but there are odd bits of info to be found on the likes of the Strutter site you mentioned.
If I can help you with anything let me know. I haven't got time to do a list but I do have a lot of stuff ( some really obscure )
