Was M. bolton being considered for Journey?

It could have happened from what I hear. Or, let's just say I hear Cain and Schon were mulling it over.

The association is certainly there. Cain produced one of Bolton's albums didn't he? And Schon played lead guitar on "Dock of the Bay".

As a matter of fact, I saw Bolton at Disneyland back in '85 or '86, right when "Dock of the bay " was going strong, but before he became the star he is today (or should I say "was"). Anyway, Cain was playing keyboards and Vallory was playing bass. That's 2 members of Journey right there.

Somehow, I just can't even imagine what that might have sounded like.
