Actually. Harem Scarem was lifted off a Bugs Bunny episode if I'm not mistaken, one of the classic ones.

The world, particularly our genre, is riddled with bad band names ranging from the stupid to the insane. But personally, the ones I hate are names like Boston and Chicago. What a load of (insert disgusting substance here...I thought of a really nasty one, but you would all puke & I'd get banned). I would rather be stupid than unoriginal. I can imagine a bunch of guys sitting around and one jumps up, aglow with excitement and says, "I got it! I know, let's call ourselves Minnesota!". Same thing. Sounds pretty idiotic doesn't it?

Then there's names from the "what the fuck" file. Like Diving For Pearls. Can you see that name in huge lights up on the marquee? Then again, who would have pictured the name Limp Bizkit up there?
