VH and Darren Wharton - how bout it?

We all know that Dave or Sammy are most likely gonna re-join and it will be good for the band. But I was thinking about about Darren Wharton (Dare) the other day as a good technical fit for the band. His voice would suit both eras. He is a great musician. He seems to get on well with other muso's (cf his work with Thin Lizzy). He writes great stuff.
