Well said, Don!! A much more detailed way of explaining what I was attempting to say. I don't argue with the assertion that DD was not really original, but hardly any of the bands had much originality then, with the probable exception of Queensryche. However, though there was nothing ground-breaking about the sound or musicianship of most of the bands of the late 80's-early 90's, some of them were classic just due to the great melodies. I think Danger Danger was one of these bands.

I like DD much better than Firehouse or Warrant, and I could better sympathize with the complaint were it aimed at the latter bands. That's just my own opinion...
