...I'm pretty sure that Van Morrison's hit was actually "Brown Eyed Girl." Unless you meant Restless Heart's "The Bluest Eyes in Texas"...Or Sheena Easton's "For Your Eyes Only"... Or Rainbow's "Right Between the Eyes" ... Or...(?) ;-)


I'm not trying to give you a hard time, Captain. I just thought I'd point this out so that you could re-consider your plans for the rest of the day (week?). My personal recommendations would include:

-Don't drive home tonight. Take a taxi or better yet a bus.
-Don't choose tonight to clean your gun collection.
-Don't try operating any heavy duty machinery (like, for instance, a grader, a backhoe, a dumptruck, or a toaster-oven, or a blowdryer, or... Well, you get the picture.)
-Avoid self-serve gas stations. Choose full-serve instead.
-Don't bother buying a lottery ticket this week. In fact, maybe you'd better stay clear of convenience stores in general.
-Don't risk standing in the shower, and don't try having a bath unless you have a trustworthy person who's a strong swimmer standing closeby to keep an eye on you.
-And finally, while walking down the sidewalk beneath tall buildings, keep an eye out for falling pianos.

Most of all, Captain, keep your chin up and remember the immortal words of Einstein: "This too, shall pass."
