Hi, Don. It's nice that I can discuss melodic rock topic with you. I am now busying myself with a new job at Japanese tea firm.
No wonder Loverboy/Night Ranger/Billy Squire fans love his music.
Now I am enjoying David Coverdale's Into The Light and listening again to Whitesnake's Greatest Hits(actually it is vol.2). Love Is Blind, Don't Lie To Me are currently my favorite tracks from Into The Light.
Best regards
Susumu

...I'd recommend that you go to www.absound.ca and look up Aldo Nova. Not only do they have soundbytes, but they also carry his music (brand new copies) for very reasonable prices. In fact, his s/t debut is listed at under $5 U.S.!! It would also be a great place to start, except for the fact that, as I mentioned, his sound/songwriting did change considerably from album to album. Still, it's a classic album, IMO, and very cheap.

p.s. - It's too bad that the soundbytes for each song are so brief. They don't get to any of the singing at all in "Fantasy." Very cool song. It's a great example of the way Aldo mixes crunchy guitar with keyboard layers and cool melodies.
Again, I hope this helps.
