The Cozy Powell album is really good but it is AOR/melodic rock as opposed to the classically tinged John West solo stuff.
I can't remember who the guitarist is but the musicianship was top quality throughout. Cozy was surprisingly restrained though.
As for Artension all their albums are superb especially the 2nd one but I am afraid
there are lots of keyboard solos so if you don't like that sort of thing then Artension is not the band for you.
John West also appears on some Sun Red Sun stuff.
