You can pretty much use any .wav recorder you like. It's getting the pops, crackles and rumble out that's difficult.
I use the following (not necessarily all at once):
-Steinberg Wavelabs 2.0 - an excellent wave recorder/editor
-Dart Pro - A reasonably good LP Noise remover
-Diamond Cut Pro - another reasonably good LP noise remover
-Nero 5.0.0.3 - CD Burning Software
