I agree with Kurt here. Robert if you think these bands all sound the same then you have a problem with your ears. They all fit the same genre but there is a lot of scope in rock for bands with great melodic pop/rock songs.
The only criticism of the bands mention in this thread that I have is that Neve's album (which I do like) is pretty much the same structure on every track.
Same riff same drum pattern. The songs are good but they need some variation.
Tsar, SR71 and MArvelous 3 are the best of an excellent bunch for me.
