Got some more:

Bulletboys: Freakshow
Like nothing most rock fans heard before. True there was a vh influence, but there was also a bizzare bluesy psychadelic rock streak running through the album too. You want proof? Check out "huge" and "thc groove"

Starship: Love among the cannibals
When i first heard this album, i thought it was def leppard. Its got the high harmonies down pat,the ballads arent cringe-inducing,and its lyrically superior,,im serious,,its a great album!
