Kevin - for the 10 minutes a day we Journey geeks spend on-line checking for music updates - we can be as uptight as we want - certainly we shouldn't be pissed about it all day, but if we are talking about Journey on here - then we can be pissed if we want.

Also, its not the album that won't be out till next year that is the problem - it's that we have been told dates a million times and none of them have stuck. Lets not talk about April 2000, HOW ABOUT APRIL 1998. We knew that Journey had 30 new songs ready to present to SONY 2.5 years ago. Jonathan Cain said in a concert in December '98 that there would be a new CD come next year (1999), in Summer 1999 they said they'd be in studio at the end of of the year - then it was January 200, then it was February, in April we heard that the album wouldn't be out till September, then October, then February 2001. Then just as we had realized that a few months wasn't a big deal, we hear we can still get it in Japan. Then that date got pushed to October, then to late October, and now till January (I guess although I haven't heard anything official).

Bottom line is - this isn't a big deal in the grand scheme of things, and its probably for the better at this point, but it still has been frustrating. This album should have been out last year at this time, and we should be talking about what a great tour ARRIVAL was and looking forward to the next album.........
