John has a pretty unique voice. I really liked the "Missing You" single that made the top of the UK charts many moons ago and the first Bad English album is a great AOR album. The band also contains Neal Schon, Johnathan Cain, Ricky Phillips and Deen Castronovo - although Deen (drums) doesn´t get the chance to show off what he can really do. Neal´s playing is great throughout. I don´t have the second album but heard it wasn´t as good as the first.

I have Q5´s "When The Mirror Cracks" and have to say IMO it´s pretty average. It´s not bad but nothing stands out. And, given that the Floyd Rose tremolo system is world renowned, the player himself is remarkably average. IMHO.
