I have to say that Jazz is the bain of any musicians life (except jazzers of course). While I was attending music college, the teachers would only teach jazz...why? they said it was the life blood of all music...??...BOLLOCKS
One of the teachers had never even taken the time to listen to rock in any form, if he heard a guitar with a bit of crunch he would leave the room (pretty cool if you wanted rid of them). This is the mentallity of people who PLAY jazz (well some of them, I can't speak for them all) although another guy was quite taken by Racer X, he couldn't believe the standard of playing (he said the songs were shite...git).

I have to agree with Carl and the Stimp, this board is clearly directed towards Melodic and AOR, this I feel could quite easily incorporate a lot of the new country acts today, I quite like the way they put melodies together, but I can't see the need for all that voice wobbling shit. So if you want to learn more aboput Kenny G and his lot, then is for you (the first one is another story).
