Only recently been getting into Motorhead, have always been familiar with some old classics like Ace of Spades and The Chase, but could never really get into Lemmy's voice. I don' t know what it is but their last few albums really hit the spot for me. I got We Are Motorhead last week and, well, shit me if it ain't the best album I've bought this year. Sure his vox aren't for everyone but for where the music is coming from and hoping to go, its fantastic. Stand out track for me is Wake The Dead, bigass riffing, chunky full on sound, fantastic! I'm out to get Overnight Sensation now, I heard a track called Broken the other day and its up there with this latest material. Don't you just love finding a new band to fan the flames (new for me of course) - wahoo, bring it on!
