Asia, GTR and Yes

Asia was a great band and Howe was not above them as much as he liked to think so. Every player in Asia was top notch on their instrument. John Wetton is not my favorite singer by a longshot but it didn't ruin the band or anything. His bass playing was great though. Jon Anderson sounds like he's on helium all the time. He sings too wimpy for me. Max Bacon is better than Jon and John combined in my opinion. His pitch falls right in the middle of those two and it's perfect! Of those three bands I like Asia the best because they had several good albums, not just the first although that was my favorite. I probably would have liked GTR the best if they had had more albums, only because of Bacon though, not Howe. I love the musicianship in Yes but the vocals are too thin and wimpy in my opinion. Max Bacon's version of Roundabout shows what could have been if Yes would have had him.
