Oh no, I'm really saddened and shocked by this, I grew up listening to Jason's work with Cacophony and thru to David Lee Roth, and I was always inspired by his music. I am so shocked and deeply saddend by this, Jason was one of the most influential neo-classical guitar players I ever heard, his style and technique was rarely bettered.
Jason once said in Guitar For The Practicng Musician 'Whatever problem you may have in life, you can choose how to react it.. keep confidence, creativity, humour and faith in yourself and life'
He certainly did this.
