Hi , Kieran here,I had the pleasure of being out with the band for a few days in July and witnessed them performing three new tracks....Call of the Night , Take it Off and Jumpin'.I have also heard the entire album , yes there is a few ballads on the album , but in all fairness who doees ballads better than Firehouse????.The album IS very much in the vein of the debut....Call of the night is the bastard half brother to Helpless while Jumpin is classic Firehouse and Take it off is wonderfully tongue in cheek.....who's cheek is the question??hahaha!!!Ok so it's well known that Firehouse are my fave band in the whole world and I am a little biased.Cat 5 had about 4 decent tracks on it and I have no problem admitting that but the new album R.O.C.K.S.....ok 1 track is a little bland but overall it is as good if not better than a lot of what has been released this year (and of course hailed as instant classics)....Firehouse are still out there after 11 years , rockin hard and playing live absolutley everywhere and anywhere...these guys are one of the most genuine hard working bands on the planet........and yes they have listened to the fans this time round...all the guys will admit to that...again a sign of a band who wants to keep their fans happy........and as I await my very expensive Japanese import I am really looking forward to playing it on 11 for days on end....watch out for O2......remember everybody needs it!!!!!!cheers..........Kieran
