Arrival (promo 7/21/00) has been spinning in my CD player almost non-stop since I got it two weeks ago or so. I must say that IMHO, the album is one of the most complete Journey albums ever musically. The opening track "Higher Place" gives me goosebums all the time when they hit the chorus :) This one ought to appear on the charts next spring!

I miss Perry's voice too, but think that Augeri does an awesome job replacing him.

For those of you that don't think Journey is Journey w/o Perry, remember that he wasn't originally in the band. My hope is that you one day can come to love this album as much as I already do.

Btw, has anyone heard the Japanese bonus track "To Be Alive Again" yet? If so, can you post a brief review/comparison to the rest of the songs?

Thanks!

EchoMan
