I'm no expert on ALIEN but I know that the re-issue of the debut features a different vocalist (named above) from the original , which is the one I've got and it has an extra track which stands out a bit from the other material.
Style wise they're not a million miles from UK band FM but with the aforementioned Malmsteeny type guitarsand a very lush production.

Their second album was called 'Shifting Gear' I think, but I lost track after that. Definately worth tracking down though.
