Hello sfk Kurt,
My name is John and im with KIVEL RECORDS and i had to jump in on this and clear some air on Chali. You are correct Chali did do a band called HEY DAY with ROSS the boss. This was after TOUR DE FORCE decided to put things on hold in 93. The album was very much in the MHR style with a little bit of a 90 twist. In fact one of the songs was originally a TDF song called MOTHER MARY. Chali also was briefly in a band right around the same time called LIONHEART that also featured the bassits form BONE MACHINE this was pure MHR at it's best! Both bands didnt pan out .What can I say, when you a talented singer/frontman you want to keep busy and have some fun. CHALI and TDF have recently reformed and have released an album of unreleased material and plan on releasing a NEW album within the new year. CHALI is devoted to TDF and his side project SNO PEA which is a smokin band that does some of the best covers around as well as some originals. Chali is NOT signing for anyone else other than the two metioned TDF and SNO PEA. So expect some great new music from him in the months to come. I hope this has cleared things up, and to the other posters that have mention the album, i promise that it will not disappoint.
Thanks
