Benno, I generally dislike Blind Guardian because the singer is pretty much unbearable (plus that Tolkien fixation is getting seriously old...), but their version of 'Don't Talk 2 Strangers' is very good. Overall, 'Holy Dio' (double CD, btw...) is way above most tributes - highlights are Fates Warning - 'Sign Of The Southern Cross' (Joey Vera's got Geezer's bass sound DIALED IN!), Doro - 'Egypt', Yngwie - 'Gates Of Babylon' (off his 'Inspiration' CD), Gamma Ray - 'Long Live R&R', Primal Fear - 'Kill The King' (Stratovarius contribute the same song, but their version is nowhere near as good...), Steel Prophet - 'Neon Knights', and Angel Dust - 'Temple Of The King'. On the downside, you get a HORRIBLE version of 'We Rock' from Grave Digger (who should be doing just that... either 'rock' or 'digging graves') and a few other tracks that aren't exactly stellar (Enola Gay, Hammerfall, Swano/Tagtgren, Destiny's End, Axel Rudi Pell).
Still, I think this is one of the best tributes out there along with the 2 Judas Priest tributes Century Media put out ('Holy Dio' is on the same label...), and the recent Randy Rhoads tribute on JVC.
