Indeed, it is hard to lend any kind of credibility to what Debra is saying - or trying to say - given the fact that she has provided no examples or details. Furthermore, as many have pointed out, one must come to expect that some "gossip," speculation, & rumours are going to leak into reports when providing information in the form of news reports. The news Andrew provides winds up being sort of a cross between the world news that's reported on television and news magazine shows. Any time one deals with musicians/show business/celebrities/etc., one must come to expect that there are going to be conflicting reports and points of view. Every single musician and employee working in the music business has his or her own perspective, ego, and opinion. They're not always all going to jibe. So, by its very nature show business news (whether it's about music and musicians or actors and TV/movies or whatever) needs to be taken with a grain of salt. In some cases, the "truth" is midway between the various accounts that are offered, and at other times it's probably nothing like any of the accounts that are offered. I actually think Andrew does a remarkable job of cutting through the biased opinions and the rumours. When you consider the potential for misinformation, Andrew's site seems to have an astounding accuracy record. I mean, sure the news changes frequently (ie., release dates get moved back, etc.), but that just has to be expected. That's part of the biz. But, all things considered, I figure Andrew is incredibly well-connected and he works hard to provide remarkably accurate news about a huge number of music acts and artists.
Andrew, you are providing many people with a great deal of happiness through what you do. Keep up the good work!
All the best,
Don
