I consider myself to be a pretty huge fan of Mark Free. He is one of my all-time favorite vocalists and it's a crime that someone with his talent isn't immensely popular worldwide. Having said all of that, let me say that I was pretty disappointed with the "Tormented" album. On one hand, I was glad to have been able to hear the album, 'cuz it would probably have driven me nuts not to have known what it sounded like. But, having heard it, I really can't say that the album comes close to his other stuff (IMO). It's certainly not ballad-filled. It's heavier, and darker, and moodier. I find it to be much less melodic than his other stuff. Tell you what - if you want a copy, I'll tape one for ya (I don't have a CD burner) so that you can decide for yourself it it's your "cup of tea." Email me if you're interested. Hope this has helped.
