well, to be perfectly honest, Bad English was 50% John Waite as he was heavily involved in the lyrics and songs and his style is very noticable. Obviously, Waite isn't writing for Journey so it CANNOT sound like Bad English.




I'm curious to know your list of favorite Journey albums. If your favorite Journey albums don't include Steve Perry, I'll retract my
comments. I don't know of a whole lot of Journey fans who can't get enough of "Next." Yessir, when you think of Journey you think
of Greg Rolie. You certainly don't think of Steve Perry. (In case you missed it, I'm being sarcastic.) Your comment about Journey
going through "so many personnel changes" is hardly a valid argument. Steve Perry has been the voice of Journey and
responsible for co-writing the songs since 1978. It blows my mind that you can ask "How is that different this time?"

well, I wonder how much Perry actually wrote in Journey. Listen to his solo albums--especially For the Love of Strange Medicine and the subsequent tour, which was a blantant attempt to clone the Journey sound with his solo band. IMO, it failed, with the exception of maybe 2 or 3 songs.




Uh... I think it
will be QUITE different. You're just being stubborn and unrealistic, probably because you're in denial, to cling to this silly theory
that Steve Perry isn't one of the most important elements of Journey.

It's not that different. Listen to the songs for yourself--they are widely available. And it does NOT sound like Bad English.
