First of all , how are we to determine who is best for any group ? Just because we as a society dont like change so we become so absent minded to believe that anything cant be good if different.Let us not forget that Neal Schon and J Cain helped write many of those great journey songs that we have heard over the years,it was not just Steve Perry.Though his vocals will be missed ,does not mean that journey can not be best without him. I can say that i have heard the vocals of Steve A. in concert , i can truely say that fans old and new will not be dissappointed at all. He (Steve A.)does sound like Steve P. but does have a sound of his own too. So how can we be so quick to judge if we do not give one self a chance to see?Do not forget that Journey did not have Steve P when they first started...........so if back then would you of said that the band was not going to be any good when they decided to have him join the group? I think that was change, or is it my imagination? And for my final thought.... If everytime one band lost a band member does that mean they should change their name because they are differnt now and they wont be the same? If that were the case we could never keep up with them because their are changes going on all the time......To me it is like sports, if your team loses a good player does that mean that they will never be number one again.........so again who are you to determine who is best............
