So, are you ready to step up to the plate in defense of that shit-ass Gary Cherone "Van Halen" album? Mack has definitely got a valid point in my opinion. This Journey situation looks grim. This is a case of a band whose entire identity rests on the shoulders of a VERY identifiable and (in my opinion) incredible VOICE. Steve Perry's highly recognizable vocals may be the single most defining characteristic of the band. Journey without Steve Perry might not be the most horrible thing ever, and some of you die-hard fans might even convince yourselves that you actually like it... but let's face reality..... you can't pretend that it's still JOURNEY. This will no more be Journey than Bad English was.
