Hey Rob, not to nitpick, but you say you're a Malmsteen fan because of the fact that he consistantly releases quality albums and does not compromise his standards...but 2 sentences before, you said how much a few of his albums sucked. If his releases are so consistent, then why does every other album...your words....seem to suck? "Although he never puts out 2 bad ones in a row"....this is quite contradictory, don't you think??

Personally, I think there are a lot better players out there in the taste and originality department. I'll give Malmsteen credit for speed...but 10 years locked in a room practicing speed licks will do that to you. Where is the originality? every one of his albums sound just like all the rest...another note from your own conversation. SO what's do great about him??

And the reason he still has his singer is because noone else wants to work with him anymore. So he has to take what he can get! Let's face it...he's not the nicest guy in the world!
