Hmm...I will agree that the production on Alchemy wasn't the greatest. In fact, I thought the production on "odyssey" was awful (terrible guitar sound!!) but Iloved the album.

Whilst I do not love Alchemy I think it is a quality album.

And I actually loved Magnum Opus..."I'd die without you" is a tremendous ballad! And not to mention the scorching tracks like "Vengeance" and "Fire in the Sky" are excellent!

I am confident taht the new album will be great, as usual....mark my words! ha ha!

Vince, I love Yngwie and he is IMHO one of the most consistent artists around - but you gotta admit he has had some low points! Frankly even with hindsight, Alchemy is the worst album he´s ever released with very few good songs and the production is just bloody awful. I didn´t like Magnum Opus all that much but in retrospect that was actually better than Alchemy in both the respects I mentioned. To his credit Yngwie in my eyes has never turned out two duf albums in a row but there´s always a first time for everything...! Nonetheless I await the album with anticipation - but also with some trepidation.
