Yes is back to doing what Yes do best -Progressive Rock. "The Ladder" has been well received in Progressive Circles where it will remain. Like most AOR- Prog has gone underground, and Yes is the Prog equivilant to Journey in terms of popularity, so they will sell x amount of CD's no matter what.

That said- "The Ladder" is the band's best in many years.
