So, I've heard a bunch of rumors regarding the Steve Perry/Journey split. Anyone out there have the real story?

I've heard after Trial By Fire, Perry injured himself and couldn't tour, although I've never been able to determine what the injury was, although I suspect a hip problem..maybe a replacement?

I've also heard that Perry was no longer confident in his voice and didn't want to tour and the band wasn't happy as they felt he was to controlling.

The reamining members commented that Perry didn't like to do interviews, tour, had a bad attitute etc. Perry hasn't said anything in response that I'm aware of.

Wouldn't it be great to see a "behind the music" on this band?!?
