Neal Schon. I met him just before Journey was breaking up and just before his CD "Late Nite" came out. Complete asshole (but his VP of Schon's new guitar line was real cool- he gave me the inside story on Journey's internal troubles!!). A couple of years later, I met Schon again after a Bad English gig, hoping that I had caught him on a bad day during our previous meeting. Nope. Complete asshole again (but Jonathon Cain and Ricky Phillips were ultra cool). I met Schon for the third time after a Hardline gig, hoping "third time's a charm". Nope. Complete asshole again. What a shame too, because I was always a big fan of his.

On the flipside, I got a chance to meet Brian May a few years back (along with the late great Cozy Powell!!), and he was one of the nicest people I've ever met. He restored my faith in meeting my guitar idols!!

In response to the Winger post, I've never met him personally, but I've heard from a mutual friend that he really is a nice guy. Just thought I'd throw that in!!
