Maybe someday you will put on some extra pounds and possibly understand how it feels. People who weigh more do not want to live their lives on a desert island. Should Mike go work in a factory now since he is not the perfect looking man according to our society? Is he really not allowed to perform in a band because he has put on weight? Why does the forty-something Mike have to be compared with the twenty-something Mike?
These guys are just singers, they are not superhuman to the point that they can defy aging. The fact that you find an overweight man singing is comical says alot about your character.
Ann Wilson had to deal with this same crap from people like you to the point of her losing her self-confidence and practically having a nervous breakdown. Unlike Lou Gramm, her voice is still absolutely pitch perfect and instead of reviews talking about her voice, they talked about her weight. I'm sorry, but that is just wrong. This society we live in is a sesspool of shallow idiots. This thread was asking who disappointed you live. If you based it on their appearance rather than their performance then you have done the band and yourself an injustice.
