I saw G 'n' R at Donington in '88. Oh dear..this band sold album upon album....why??? They were the worst band of the day and the worst band I have ever had the misfortune to see (although after two songs I heard the sweet melodies of the beer tent to soften the dull knawing ache).

Being an old fart,I remember seeing Black Sabbath in '79, and they were tragic (although Van Halen backed them up and thats what really got me into rock/metal in a big way)...and before you all think I am fifty or something, my brother took me and I was a little child...yeah right!!!

I have seen a few candidates over the last couple of years...but I am not getting into another argument, so I will keep them to myself.
