I'm not a frequent concert attendant, but here's what I've seen so far (which is not so bad, considering I live in Belgium of all places...

at 'Graspop': Saxon, Moonspell, Alice Cooper, Tiamat, the Gathering, Paradise Lost, Dream Theater were all OK.
And although I'm not really a Sabbathist, BS (original line-up, saw them last year) were AWESOME !!!

Edguy & Gamma Ray: Edguy was excellent ; Gamma Ray were very competent, it's just that the sound was a bit too hard (saw them in Germany, actually)

Sonata Arctica - Rhapsody - Stratovarius: all 3 excellent bands, just a bad sound mix (again too hard) for Rhapsody (sounded kinda muddy ; Fabio was hardly audible at times) and also a little for Stratovarius (on a couple of the harder tunes).

Too bad I had to pass on the recent Dare, Thin Lizzy and Bob Catley shows...

Actually I heard rumours that Night Ranger & Journey were going to do a tour in Europe ; anyone has any news about that ???
