as another contrast.....I saw them twice last year and Lou wasn't even coming close to hitting the high notes--he was fine on the lower notes, but his high range was just gone. That, added to a horrendous sound mix led up to an event I would rather forget--and I think a lot of the audience felt the same way because they didn't have everybody standing on the encore. Didn't help much when Journey came on with crystal clear sound and had everybody standing halfway through the first song, despite having a new lead singer.

P.S. You aren't the first person to say that Foreigner '95 was an incredible show. heard that from other people also--some who say Foreigner '99 was barely the same band and couldn't figure out what happened.
