The worst band I ever saw live was Foreigner, back in '83 I belive (showing my age). They were horrid, Lou Gramm sounded like sh*t, along with the rest of the band. Half the crowd got up and walked out on before they played their 4th song...plus it didn't help in matters that Loverboy had just played before them and blew the crowd away.
