Alex, as for the quintessential AOR ALBUM it has to be BOSTON S/T. This album patented the sound that has inspired thousands of fans and bands since its release. Rather than naming other albums I'll name bands crucial to AOR - Survivor, Starship, Foreigner, Virginia Wolf, Journey, Heartland, Giuffra, Kansas etc.
