Just for fun I'm putting up my faves. What do the rest of you guys think?
1.KENNY KAOS - You wonder where I get my name from. This guy should be much bigger. Plays for Pokerface and The Distance with Chris Ousey from Heartland. Excellent AOR guitarist.
2. ADRIAN SMITH - My favourite guitarist from the mighty Iron Maiden.
3.NEAL SCHON - JOURNEY, HSAS, HARDLINE, early SANTANA. Excellent melodic player, can shred when he wants too.
4.STEVE MORRIS - HEARTLAND- Complements the great voice of Chris Ousey.
5. JEFF WATERS - ANNIHILATOR- A great melodic speed metal player. Check out the classical instrumental passages on all their albums.
6. TOM SCHOLZ - BOSTON - A real innovator.
7. CHRIS CAFFERY - SAVATAGE - Why aren't these guys bigger? They deserve to be.
8. RICK NIELSEN - CHEAP TRICK - The guy looks strange but boy can he pull off some brilliant hooks.
9. JOHN PETRUCCI - DREAM THEATER - Classically trained and it shows.
10.KAI HANSEN - HELLOWEEN/GAMMA RAY - Euro melodic metal wouldn't be the same without him. Even without Hansen though I still prefer Helloween! New Helloween album soon.
